CNA has partnered with Cyber Safety Project, Inform & Empower, and Project Rockit to provide a series of virtual cyber sessions for you and your classes.

Why Cyber Safety Matters

• Promoting Digital Citizenship: By teaching students about online safety and responsible digital behaviour, educators can help them become informed and ethical digital citizens.

• Ensuring a Secure Learning Environment: A safe and secure online environment is essential for effective teaching and learning. Cyber threats can disrupt classroom activities, compromise academic integrity, and create a negative learning experience.

• Protecting Student Data: Schools are entrusted with sensitive student information, including personal details, academic records, and medical information. Educators must understand the importance of safeguarding this data from cyber threats like hacking, phishing, and malware attacks.

• Complying with Regulations: Australian schools are subject to various privacy and data protection laws, such as the Privacy Act 1988. Educators must be aware of these regulations and take steps to ensure compliance.
